aLVplaygroup is an active playgroup in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. We are a group of mothers diverse in age, experience, and lifestyle, all with the common goal of raising our children the best we can. The group provides mothers with a social, supportive and educational outlet for themselves and their children. The transitions women make into and through motherhood are challenging and can be difficult, but having a great support system helps to lighten the load! Joining aLVplaygroup is a great opportunity to learn, grow and make new friends for yourself and your child!

This unique group consisting of stay-at-home mothers offers playtime for the children, as well as support for new parents, fun outings for the kids, and nights out for the moms. Come join the fun, get out of the house, and meet lots of new friends!

The group meets on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday mornings. Meetings rotate among the members' homes and various parks and children's attractions in the Las Vegas area. Excursions have included a tour of Anderson Dairy, local fire stations, Lied Discovery Children's Museum, Chuck E. Cheese's for pizza and games, and visits to most of the major playgrounds in Clark County. We are a free playgroup; all that we do require is that you attend at least two activities per month. Mom's Night Out is held monthly, and always extremely popular!

aLVplaygroup is organized and operated solely on members' volunteered time. You will find, as with most things, you get back what you are willing to put in. This group's success is due to the dedication and enthusiasm of it's members, so just jump right in and get involved! The group benefits by the special contribution that each member makes. We believe the more you involve yourself in aLVplaygroup the more you will enjoy the group!

Our online community is a supplement to our playgroup activities. This allows us an easy & practical way to manage our activities and keep in touch while still maintaining our busy households. This is a "No Lurking" group.
